I have a Darla 24/96 audio setup with a pair of Fostex PS.1 sattelites.(and subwoofer) I'm gonna be getting a pair of real monitors soon and was wondering if there is any way I can hook up the monitors and my subwoofer to my Darla outputs. I have 8 outputs on the Darla, but can only output from 2 (left and right) at one time within cool edit pro.

Would I even want to to use my sub once I get a decent pair of monitors in the $400 - 600 range?

If you got a pair decent inexpensive nearfield monitors like event 20/20s or yorkville you should not require the sub. These monitors are designed to provide an accurate freq response that is they don't color the sound the way a home stereo would. I would guess that if you did add the sub it may emphasize the low end too much and you would not get a good translatable mix as a result.
