okay.... short and sweet....

when recording ive gotta have 4 headphones coming out of a behringer headphone amp and a pair of studio moniters for me.
i record through a mixer to PC and have a delta 44 soundcard. where should i have the moniter sounds come from for the headphones? and me? meaning: from the soundcard? from the mixer?
thanks,
Brandon

Yo Brandon:

I have, in my studio, a couple of double plugs for 1/4 in jacks which have two inserts, and then, the one insert into whatever you want.

I think you might solve your headphone problem using this very frugal method.

Or, get a headphone amp with 4 to 8 inserts for phones. Check out the units to make sure you get one that works to your liking. I've sent one back because it did not perform but looked good in the catalog.

the headphone amp has 4 outs for the phones it has 2 ins per channel so i could have the soundcard going to that AND the mixer going to that in just wondering what to plug the amp into... the soundcard, the mixer, or both? my moniters are powered and i dont want to hear the metronome in them so i should plug those into the mixer. i think i should plug the studio moniters into the mixer and the headphone amp into the soundcard....but... the soundcard has 4 outs also. should i skip the phone amp all together?

im confusled....
