while researching new cables for my studio, i came across something called a

10’ BLUE MOGAMI AES/EBU DIGITAL CABLE GOLD XLR 110 OHM

I already know I love mogami cables, and I can see that it's an xlr cable, but what the heck is all this other aes/ebu digital ohm junk? I wanna buy XLRs that are the tops, and these seem to be a good deal for mogami's with neutriks. if anyone can tell me what this stuff means, or better yet, simply if they will be just fine as mic cables, i'd appreciate it. (sorry if this is a silly question or if i'm overcautious). thanks

No go for oddy-o, I think. Digital cables have a specific impedance, pretty high, to run between digital ins and outs. Mic cable wants to be as low as possible in terms of impedance. I think also there are only two wires in those babies. For mics you are looking for three.
