Hey guys, I havent posted in quite a while. Been busy with the band and life :) I would like to find one of you guys or ladies who is confident in their modern hard rock/metal mixing skills. I am just having trouble getting a "pro" sounding mix, and although Im not giving up... the years of struggling with mixing has beaten me down for too long. Im tired. Im willing to pay an engineer to mix a full album for me, and I figure why not look for some new eager talent on this forum. A few years ago i would have loved to try. If you like the style, and can throw that modern hard edge mix on it, I will pay you to do a 10-12 song album. I'll paste my bands reverbnation below, check it out most of those songs will be on the album, and if you think you can get a better mix than me Im all for it. These were my babies, but they've beaten me down. I can mix no longer lol at least for a whhhhhhhhhhile.

Again, thank you so much for reading, and if you would like to try and mix, I can send you the wav files of each audio track I have for whatever song you want to do.

First, I'm not going to be involved here to try to convince you that I'm your man. If you really like my approach more than others and pick me based on that, fine. But consider my involvement merely academic in nature... another option among many talented ones on the forum. I'm listening to one of the tracks. It's definitely music I'm personally interested in, which helps ME when mixing since I'll actually enjoy it. :p [Sevendust + a more rockin' version of Dream Theater?] It sounds to me like the biggest mixing issues are with the drums. The electric guitar tone is good. It sounds like most of the foundation for a good mix is here.

Second, it would be easier for you to pick the track. Something perhaps that you would find too challenging to do yourself, but perhaps more importantly one you tried and don't like the results. Selecting this sort of track will give you an idea of what someone can bring to the song(s).

Once you pick something and have the files ready ot be downloaded, post here or message me. :)

I could try this. I've been out of the game forever but think I could give it a shot.

Hey Brandon, I am a professional mix engineer and mastering tech, I worked in Nashville for 4 years, I have tons of audio if you would like to check it out, just get in touch and we can talk if you like...

Here are some mixes/masters I have done:

P.S. Just put https:// in front of all of them, they wouldn't let me post links without 10 posts...lol

They remind me of Killswitch Engage. I would love to take a crack at mixing any of their songs.

These sound interesting to mix. Too bad the OP has disappeared.
