I dont care if Ted Weber makes the stock speaker in this amp, the stock speaker in this amp sounds like crap, and I knew I was going to change it before I even paid for the amp and walked out of the store. For $25 bucks, changing the speaker will make a much more obvious improvement in the sound than changing the tubes..... and changing the OT makes an even more obvious improvement, especially when you plug the darn thing into a 2x12 cab loaded with Weber Michigans.... or a 2x10 Delta Demon cab.

I just swapped the stock Sovtek EL84 and the stock Chinese made 12ax7 for JJ's, based on a lot of recomendations, and I reconnected the Bit Mo push/pull gain/tone mod my buddy had installed and disconnected before I bought it.

Now I have to get my cabinet together so I can see if it made a difference

C'mon UPS, can't you drive any faster!!?
