Still Learning.......
Could anyone point me in the direction of a website or give me directions on how to mod my telecaster?
I want to put a stacked humbucker on the bridge. Is this going to be hard?
I've got an understanding of electrics and such like, so I can solder, etc.

I put one in mine once upon a time. It requires no routering to the body as it fits right in. you also have the option of putting in a switch to toggle it between a single pole and a humbucking. Very simple operation.

I am also wondering. I have a Squier Fat Tele that I want to change the bridge pickup to a Bill Lawrence L-190TLE. I once rewired my Squier Strat with new pots but it was a frustrating experience, esp. since it was my first time soldering (with burns to show it). If there is some visual diagram on the net of how to change a Tele pickup I'd appreciate it (can't read the schematics). Thx

The pickup jobs i've done on my Jazz bass and Telecaster were simple and the wiring instruction were included with the pickups. just undo the old and do it back with the new. Follow basic soldering rules (like heating the object not the wire) and you're good to go.

Just jump right in I say, but wouldn't replacing only one pickup unbalance your sound a bit, maybe even present phase problems?
