Mobo for Shuttle pc?

Hi!
Some of you may have read my previous post about sync problems etc with my creamware powersampler card.
I have a Shuttle barebone pc (SB61G2) which has a FB61 mobo.
For some reason, my soundcard does not work very well with this when I am trying to sync it to an external clock. I've tried the card in my old computer, standard ATX machine, and everything works fine. (Same setup, no IRQ sharing etc.)

I therefore think that there is some kind of resource sharing going on, that I can't control from either BIOS or OS with this mobo. (Tried disabling SATA and on board graphics as well, but no difference....)

Now, my question is if anyone else in here has used/uses a barebone pc with a PCI sound card? And, if so, what mobo is used, and how well does it work?
:)

I use the Shuttle SN45G with an Aardvark Direct Pro 24/96 sound card (pci) and it works great. I'm not sure what motherboard it is, but its AMD... I love it because I have an unlocked Barton 2500+ so when i need the computer to be extremely quiet I'll underclock and with my 92mm fan and heatsinked graphics card, you cant even hear it. When I'm mixing like 30 tracks with lots of effects I crank it up to a 3200+.

Hope this helped...
