Could someone please give me an educated recommendation on a motherboard that works great with a Delta-66 and a P-4 (let's say 1.6a)?

Thanks in advance to all responders.

RDRAM?

Take a look at the Abit TH7II, or maybe the Asus P4T.

If you're gonna get the P4, your best bet is to stick with an Intel made mobo. I'd say your odds of running into problems and incompatabilities are greatly reduced that way.

You also need to chose which chipset to go with (845 or 850). The 850 is the original P4 chipset that uses RDRAM (Rambus). The newer 845 chipset makes use of lower cost DDR RAM.

You're not gonna be able to overclock with the Intel board. If you're not going to overclock at any point, you may very well want to take your chances with that cheaper, possibly hotter/louder Athlon XP setup.. do stay away from the VIA boards, as others have mentioned.
