I just received my new soundscape mixtreme PCI card and intalled it and the software. I then connected my tascam TMD1000 to the mixtreme via the tdif cable that came with the mixtreme. I then get this warning on the tascam:

Warning!
Different Fs TDIF-1 A

What does this mean?!? How do I make this work? I checked the manuals for both the mixtreme and the TMD1000. Nothing explains this hookup. If anybody could help it would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Alright guys,

I figured it out. It had to do with frequency settings and sync. I think I've got that to work. Now I can't get any audio to come through from my tascam to the mixtreme. I don't see any sign of a signal from the soundscape software.

The mixtreme mixer can be confusing to the new user. See the article/review at prorec for excellent explanation. Contact dirk at SS he is always on the ball with mixtreme users. Van Mieghem, Dirk [dvm@sydec.be]

thanx

Thanks man, confusing is right, but that link has some info that will probably help.
