HI,

I know it is in this forum somewhere but I have yet to find it. Can anyone explain to me step by step how you do this?

Here's what I have: MR-8, Music Creator 2003 (CakeWalk). Any advise will be taken, I know alot of you are using n-Track and Powertracks audio, but the process should be basically the same.
I am trying out CakeWalk because I saw it at BestBuy for $29.00.

Thanks,
Ben

All I know is... I have cakewalk "express" that I got free with my Oxygen-8 keyboard and it doesn't work with the files created by my MR-8. That's not to say that your version of cakewalk won't work though... just try it and see.

1. Transfer a file from your MR-8 to your computer.
2. Open it with cakewalk.

It's really pretty painless. These directions seem very basic, but really that's all there is to it. If you're able to open the file, the trick is to try to minipulate the file sonically with the tools that cakewalk gives you. As long as you maintain the file elsewhere in the computer, you can't really screw it up. Just experiment a bit and see what you can do.

Good luck
