Mixing with earphones - how off am I?

Hi,

I would appreciate to hear how this mix sounds since I'm only mixing with earphones. Thanks!

 
I'm going to take a wild guess and assume your headphones are rather scooped in the mids (or they might just fit rather snug, which could do the same thing).

Learn how the headphones make your mixes sound by burning to a disc, then listening on other systems - your home stereo, in your car, a friends system, etc. You may be real surprised how different it can be.
 
I wanted to cut the bass in some way. My guess is that your cans are doing that already and fooling you into leaving it alone.
 
It is totally possible to get a good mix on cans if you know how they translate.
 
Thanks for the response! I know you shouldn't mix on cans, but then again you have to do what you can. I have a new version of the song. Any feedback would be very much appreciated!

Catchy! I think the vocals are a bit too high though and the drums a little distant.
