Mixing Tips---Newbie

I have a few songs i recorded and I wanted to know if i was doing things right.. Versatile | Clarkton, NC | Hip Hop / Southern Rap | Music, Lyrics, Songs, and Videos | ReverbNation

I use Adobe Audition 3 and I mastered with Izotope 4...Every song I recorded, I did hook or chours 3 times and panned 2 of the left and right... I record the main vocals one time, doubles 2times panned hard left and right and adlibs once centered

when I play it in my car it do not sound right...the vocals sound weak.

thats bcoz u panned every thing right and left trying and keep the vocals in the middle and if they sound week with 2 voices try experimenting with 2-5 voices and try pannig clock-wise. well hope this helps
