Hello,

I own a Yamaha AW16G. I record and everything but when I try to mix, the sound is so low. I made a CD, and when I listen to it in the car or any where, I need to put the volume to the max to hear it. Anyway how to fix this? Or I am doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Start at the start. Are you getting input levels at or close to 0 Db?

Not close. Arround -12Db. I cant get it higher. I read that the preamp on my machine aint good. Any way to fix it?

It's called Mastering. I suggest you do some reading here.

But my levels are almost fine when I recorded. It's when I mix it, it go so low.

If your final mix sounds good but has low overall level that's OK. The process of Mastering has devolved to getting the level up but that is essentially what you need. There are a few really good ME's here that could help you out.

Hi, Could you give me a name so I could contact that person?
