Hey all,
After a couple of years of recording me and my own compositions I decided to post a Craigslist ad to start practicing my recording/mixing skills with other people. Since I greatly appreciate others uploading their session stems in the past for me to practice on, I thought I would do the same with the first responder to my ad. The artist has licensed his works under a CC license, so all the better! Here is his info if you are interested:
Artist: Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo
Website: http://www.buffalobuffalobuffalo.com/
MySpace: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=393152194
Stems can be found here (zipped):

Hey Luanne - http://www.ilantisstudio.com/media/hl.zip
A little info about the recording environment:
These tracks were recorded in a college dorm basement which has been converted into a "live music venue." The room is about 50'x50'x12' complete with plumbing PVC, a padded floor (those jigsaw pieces that you find in the free weights section of gyms) and support beams.
Tracking was done with 2 x Rode NT5's close mic'd on the guitar and a Rode NT1A for vocals. Guitar and Vox were tracked separately to eliminate signal bleed. All sources were run directly into a Digidesign MBox2 and then into PT7.
I welcome any and all critiques of either my mic techniques or final mixes (didn't have much choice on room selection though). Below are links to my "final" mixes in AIF format:
