Hey everyone i am new to pro tools and i am familiarizing myself with it, but i would just like to know if anyone would like to mix a session for me just to help me out so i can get different views of how people do it. Because i know mixing is all about the ear so maybe if i hear how someone else mixes it, than it can help me out. It seems for me its always easier to mix someone else's stuff. But thanks ahead of time i really hope some can help me. Maybe Pm me or whatever. Thanks.

I suggest you sit down and listen to your favourite records. When I say 'listen' I don't mean just 'hear', but listen.

That's how most of us learned. Some of us never had anyone on hand to mix our music so we could hear 'differences'... We made our own differences and listened to them, while comparing them with our records.

Having said that, I wouldn't be adverse to having a go. As much for my benefit as yours, because I'm still learning as well. It all depends on if I like your music, so do you have any examples of pre-mixes we could listen to?

And what format(s) would you be working with? You say you've got Pro-Tools... I'm using something quite different here but if we're talking wavs and general MIDI files, I'm sure it won't make any difference.
