mixing down only part of the tracks?

so i recorded about 7 tracks, but i want to mix only 3 of them for the time being. how do i do that?...i know how to mix the entire session,but how do i mix some of the tracks only?

Mute the unwanted tracks and export (mix) the desired ones to a new track. Easy.

You can highlight the tracks you want to mix down (ctrl/click on each track), then go to Edit/Mix Down Selected Tracks/Bounce to New Track (mono or stereo) in versions through 1.5. You can do the same in 2.0, but I haven't tried it yet, so I can't give you the order. It's pretty simple, in any case.
