Mixing console advice...

Hello all-

I record on a Tascam 688 and use several different samplers:

Akai S20
Boss SP-202
Casio RZ-1
Ensoniq EPS

I usually hook them up one at a time to the 688 and then switch to another sampler if I need to...

My question is - what would you recommend for a mixing console so I don't have to keep plugging and unplugging the samplers individually into the 688?

Does my question even make any sense?

Makes sense to me.
Behringer and Mackie make some nice, small, affordable mixers.
I'm a true fan of Behringer but I do find their mixers too noisy for recording.
I've never owned a Mackie.
A multi channel preamp would do the same job.

Why would you need a mixer? The 688 has 8 channel stereo inputs if I'm not mistaken. More than enough to accomodate the number of samplers you have.
