Mixer setup question

Greetings ... I am trying to add a mixer in my internet radio rig. My setup is as follows, Behringer Xenyx 1204USB mixer, 2 PCs, one for skype and
one running SAM Broadcaster.

My Mic -> Behringer (Mic 1)

Skype PC Line out -> Behringer (Line In 7/8)
Skype PC Line in <- 2 Track/USB Out

SAM PC Line Out -> Behringer (Line In 5/6)
SAM PC Line In <- Behringer Main Out

Behringer (Control Room Out) -> Studio Speakers.


I am seeing some odd things with this setup, #1 the audio gets louder when SAM PC is powered on. #2 when I am talking to someone on skype and play
audio VIA SAM at the same time it echos. I think the problem is that the audio going to the skype caller is also going back to the SAM program with a
slight delay.

Is there a better way do accomplishing this? I would rather keep skype on a seperate computer as the SAM computer isn't that beefy.

Does the skype caller need to hear the audio, too? You are correct on the source of the 'echo' the simple solution would be to turn off the SAM to mixer signal. Plug your speakers into the SAM computer audio output for monitoring.
