Mixer or multichannel soundcard

I have a Yamaha Motif and a MPC 2000xl, should I go with a 8 channel mixer and the audiophile 24/96 or a soundcard with 4 ins and outs ?

The Motif has 4 outs and the MPC has 2, but I will only use 2 outs of the Motif and 2 outs from the MPC for a total of 4 outs
 
I would go with the 4 I/O card and the mixer. The combo would be the best bet. You could use two of the outputs for the sampler and the four inputs off the busses on the mixer for multitracking.
 
No it's either the mixer and the 24/96 or just the card with the 4 ins and outs, that's my only choice for right now......$ issues
 
If you are going to be recording more than 2 tracks at a time then I would go with the soundcard with 4 I/Os. (You didn't state which card that was, btw). But, if you can track on instrument at a time, then go with 24/96 option.

In the 4 in and out category it's the
Waveterminal 192M vs the Delta 44,

The other option is
Behringer 802a:D and the audiophile 24/96
