Mixer and Fostex VF 160

What mixer do you guys suggest for the VF 160. In the 300-400 dollar price range. I had thought about the Behringer MX2442A or the Behringer UB2442FX-Pro Mixer

Multi reasons. Plus I start my home recording schools here before too long. I have to have a mixer for that. So I need one no matter what.
