yup...they're my audio files...I thought it would be an interesting project...

you can find cheesy examples of it all over the net

I thought making dairy products from milked cats was an interesting project too.....once

in next weeks mix competition we have my chemical romances "I'm not okay" with missing banjo file ...this time first prize is genital warts

hopefully you'll be up for it ;)

Real answer? Because most people have no idea how to mix drums. They usually start with the drums, and then start piling stuff on. They become so focused on everything else that the poor kick gets lost and becomes an afterthought. Listen to anything profesionally done and you will hear the kick. Country, jazz, rock, ska, latino, anything. Listen to home recordings and often times the kick is MIA and then they wonder why their mix has no power or balance. :(
