MISTERQCUE & dtb Q-ism

Didn't catch the original. Not bad, not bad indeed.

The mix sounds too compressed. Like different instruments are fighting for the frequency space here and there constantly. It does give this a nice pumping sound, though. But I guess you weren't asking for mix comments, since you "only played" guitar on this, which was great playing by the way :D
 
CrankyOne, yeah MISTERQCUE did this tune. Great fun. I downloaded and played guitar on it. Catch the original in his thread. I just plugged the guitar in thru my J-station and went at it. It was truely fun.

Nice playing man. Did you add a bunch of compression to Que's original track? Im hearing alot too ....and i dont hear it on his original. Nice guits bro.

Hey G, I think so. I just got the J-station a while back and haven't messed with it much. I just used a pre-set patch, and I'm sure it had all the comp. in it. I recorded QCUE's tune in stereo and just played on another track. Sure was fun, and great playing along with the talented QCUE.

nice work........i've listened to both.......you did a good job of laying back and not hoging the lead.....i know i would have gone overboard, you showed good restraint and good playing..........
 
hey QCUE, get home, mix a good drink, do a bowl, and have a listen. Thanks very much for letting me do this. It has been the highlight of my day.

I would take off the added compression and just add your stuff to the dry Q track..

nice picking.. I didn't know you were into electric guitar, you play very good..

hey B, it's my alter ego, the electric, I seem to turn to it when I get a little dry, and QCUE's tune was great. Timing and a rainy day off from work, and there you go. thanks man.
