(mismatched pairs) different type mics as overheads for drums?

Would it be ok to use different type mics as overheads for drums?

I guess i could just put em up on the stands and try it.

But i was curious what kind of results people have gotten trying this.

I was thinking about using a u87 and a 4047....

Thoughts?

I've used mismatched mics in a Glyn Johns setup and it came out sounding fine.
