Minimum dimensions for vocal booth?

I walk the line
I want to build a vocal booth and would like to know if there are any miniumum interior dimensions required. Does the application matter (VO vs singing)? I know I would get a better sound with a bigger, more 'live' booth, but for now I'm going to have to start with small and dead. And if the booth is completely dead, do dimensions matter at all, even as the booth gets larger?

I'm pretty sure that a 5x6x9 is supposed to work really well. Can't remember where I read it though.
