here is my question, right now I only have a four trak minidisk, hence, I will be doing alot of song copying(to save individual tracks)and then bouncing. This way if I get a bounced mix and am not happy with something, I just go back. But, does the EQ(built in 3-band Eq) I apply to a track, and then bounce, get recorded? Or, are the tracks routed enternally and recorded without the machines EQ? I am trying to get by without buying an external EQ until I can afford a nice recorder and outboard EQ.

Ho & Yo Funky Bunny:

I'm not sure about the EQ transfering but I think it should.

Do a test: do a few bars on a track with your syn or voice; use the EQ to make some NOTICEABLE CHANGES; bounce the track and see if you get the same sound. Should tell you right away if the EQ bounces or not.

Keep twiddling the dials,
