MD to computer to CD

I do the same sometimes. It is a cumbersome process because of my computer software and the analog connection between MD and computer.

If you MD song is one continous stream of music, perhaps the best way is to record a long stream of the entire MD into the computer and then splitting the huge soundfile into smaller ones using software. (Sound forge XP, wavestudio, Peak, Jam etc..).

Or you may even be able to take the huge sound file and directly in Adaptec Easy Cd recorder or in Toast, split the file into several tracks before writing the Cd. I will be trying this next week and can let you know if it works.

On Adaptec's stuff, you gotta burn the CD "at-once" and not track by track. I don't have it here in front of me to confirm exactly what the option is, but you gotta do the whole CD at once, instead of track-at-once or "session."

And "CD-at-once" gives my computer problems, I rarely use it.
