Here's a newbie question...
I'm looking for a minidisc player to record live demos. A number of the less expensive Sony models have just a "line in" that can also be used with a mic (according to the manuals online). But then there are more expensive models with a dedicated "mic in" as well. Can someone explain to me the difference between these features? If I use a powered mic, can I get a model with just a "line in" and still make decent recordings?
If not, what models should I be considering?
