I have a few songs I need to work on (cutting, fading) using Sonic Foundry. I have them on mini disk and need to copy onto my Computer (running windows XP). Is there a board or something I can buy that I can plug the mini disk into so I can input the music?

Thanks....Lou

you should just need the right cable going from the Line-Outs of the mini-disk to the Line-Ins of your soundcard. Which cable depends on what type of outputs the mini-disk has and what type of input the soundcard has.

Yes, unfortunately, consumer MD units do not do digital output. You'll have to go analog,

I have a consumer grade mini disc and it's equiped with TOSLINK S/PDIF inputs and outputs. If your unit is also equiped with them alls you need is a card with the same gozintas/gozoutas. If not, then it's an analog transfer.
