MidiMan sound card with ProTools LE?

Is it possible to use a MidiMan or Ardvarrk soundcard with ProTools LE software?

I am asking this because I heard that the drivers in the Digi001 software/hardware package are not good drivers.

By-the-way, is it true that the drivers aren't good?

It's possible...but you need the "special" version (and I ain't talkin' about no special sauce)!

I'm pretty sure ProTools LE will only work with the Digidesign Digi001 and Audiomedia cards. But Pro Tools FREE works with any standard soundcard, or it's supposed to, at least.

Dolemite , what do you mean by the "special version"? Are you talking about ProToos FREE?

I know PT FREE can work will almost any soundcard, but it only has 8 audio tracks. I like the idea of 24 tracks as in LE software.

According to Digi, it only works with thier card... the special version is just that... special... figure it out...
