ok i have a electric drumset..it has a midi out on it but not a midi in..i wanna be able to use the midi out and go into my presonus firepod midi in running drumkit from hell 2 and recording the samples from drumkit from hell 2 into sonar 4 but how can i do this? how can i route it? im very confused please help thanks

Send the MIDI out to the firepod's MIDI in, and then record the MIDI part to a MIDI track(s) and then assign DKFH to that MIDI track. Depending on the software you use, you may not be able to monitor the actualy drum sounds, but I'm not sure on the specifics on this on any software. Maybe someone with a little more experience in this area can help?

yeah thats my problem i cant monitor the actull drum sound..can anyone help me there?

When you load a vst like dfh, you should have a midi track and an audio track. The midi track is for recording the midi info and the audio track is for monitoring the vst output. If your host software does'nt create an audio track when you load dfh, create one. Then set dfh as the audio track's input. If it does create an audio track, just set the input for dfh.
