cubase receives program change message instead of note when i m playing keyboard. what could possably be wrong?

I could be anything. Make sure your controller is sending the correct "note" message and not set to send Program Changes. Possibly you have something mapped wrong. Can you outline your setup in detail and what exactly you're doing?
