MIDI to WAV

Hi, im really gettin annoyed... :eek: :eek: i cant seem to find a FREE!!! program which allows you to record more than 30 seconds of a Midi then record it into a WAV.


If anyone knows how to do it on Cool Edit or knows of any FREE programs which allows you to convert MIDI to WAV, please tell me!!! :rolleyes:
 
this is easy. 2 main steps. first, go to your audio control panel and click options>properties and select recrding. when the recording controls come up select "wave output" or "what you hear" or what ever looks like speaker output. second, when you open cool edit in multitrack mode, click the red "R" button to make it recordable. then click record on the play controls and start your midi playing. when its done youll see the waveform of the midi in the track window, and you can save it or whatever you wanbna do
