HI:

Soundcard I'm Using: Maxi sound studio ISIS XL
Software: Cool Edit Pro...Cakewalk Pro Audio 9

When I go to mixdown a sequence in Cakewalk, the audio data converts to .wav but not my midi drum tracks...

How do I convert midi to .wav so I can have my songs formatted to one .wav or mp3 file?

My soundcard works great and so does the software, everything records very cleanly. The digital effects are great in Cakewalk also.

I'm not using a mixer. what I do is use the Line out from my Marshall guitar amp into the soundcard's breakout box....sounds great !!

I use the midi sounds from my soundcard for drums and bass.

I just want to be able to mixdown my songs to one .wav file ....

Thanks for listening.......

Define 'great'! I bet it would sound alot better if you mic the Marshall rig... ;)

Run your midi tracks from whatever sound module or sound card you are using, record it in audio tracks and export them as one single wave or mp3. (First mix your audio tracks, then block all the audio tracks and Export audio as a wav) Good Luck!
