Play the MIDI files with Windows media player while recording the sound with PowerTracks. Your monitoring might have to be on...see the sound card page.
OK.. so i have the really nice MIDI files that i want to put on CD to play as sound backgrounds. Obviously i can't just copy them to the CD. How can I convert the MIDI tracks to stereo wav files? I have a few different pieces of software (PowerTracks, Cakewalk SE, and othe beginner stuff).
Thanks... I also found that I could play the MIDI and record as wav at the same time in powertracks.. just had to change the sound source to MIDI in the Windows mixer control.
