Midi suddenly not working

neither cubase nor reason is reading a signal from my midi piano all of a sudden. i checked all the connections, even restarted it with the piano on and both programs are still telling me that they dont even sense the piano though it still is reading the "sb audigy I/O ports". is thier a driver or something that can tell me if the computer is getting any signals from the piano? or is this just another reason why i should throw away my pos audigy card?

i assume in the programs u have selected 'all midi inputs' for the source. and the midi cables are goin to the right spot (ins/outs).... sorry i bet thats not helpful at all

prob just my card. my comp been doing some weird shit lately, like my cd burner not turning on, then when that works my screen wont turn on, then when that works something else shits out. not to mention i havent been able to get my audigy remote control to work for the past few days. Damn i hate this pos card.
