I have used MasterTracks Pro since the late 80's and until recently, it has served me well. The feature I like the most is the "set play list". I load 15 songs per set and bang, go at it. I now need the lsb/msb commands for the newer sound modules so I am seeking a new software that offers some sort of "play list" function. I don't need audio, just MIDI but if the audio has to be there, so be it. I have both PC and Mac laptops.

Any suggestions?

Thanks a bunch.

have a look at this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZlMnukh5zc an SD controller, I use one live. I create the tracks in logic and save them as a zero midi file, this is saved to an sd card and I then trigger a muse receptor and the band play over the top. I put a click on track 16 and by using the midi thru output on a kenton control freak, the click data is passed on to a drum machine which is sent to a headphone amp which the drummer plugs his headphones in to and plays to the click. The cowbell is always best and to keep the drummer in time and for integral changes a hand clap is used to cue him in. have a look at section 25 and peter hook at plan k belgium on youtube, this is what we used at this gig.
