midi recording

I recently got the Korg Legacy collection which consists of a controller and 3 virtual software synths. Now I want to record my sounds in another midi recording program called Midi Studio 6 by Magix. But I can't figure out how to do it. I don't know what I need to do to change the input in my midi recording software to match what I hear from the virtual synths or if I can even do it. I think I need to change the patch but I'm not sure to what. I'm new to midi so if anybody can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Well if the program is called midi studio chances are it just does midi, no?

You need a DAW which supports both midi and audio
