midi quantize

Hi all

I have an annoying problem in that I can't get Reaper to quantized my midi recording. The humanize works fine. Has anyone got any suggestions? I play keys like Les Dawson hence the requirement for this facility.

Double click on the midi track so that you can see the notes.

Select all, then 'Q' for quantize.

You should be able to quantize in various ways: note start, note length, note end, etc.

You can also determine what to quantize on, e.g. the grid. However you may need to set up your grid appropriately.

Yeh thanks for reply I have got that far even just selected a couple of badly placed notes hit the Q and commit and still nothing. Can you of any setting that would over ride this.?

What are your grid settings?

Did you follow the directions on page 225 (Section 12.20 Quantizing Midi Data) of the User Manual???
