Has anybody else had problems recording MIDI tracks and loosing response from PA9?
I start to record a MIDI track and a couple of minutes into my recording, PA9 just stops responding - I then hear the notes I played some time later (30sec - 1 minute). It is like there is a delay between the MIDI IN and OUT. This problem seems to happen in Windows 2000 and 98SE. I have tried it in Win2k,ME and 98SE. This started with my Diamond Monster Sound S90, I then bought the SB and still had the same problem.
I got rid of ME because I was getting terrible Soundcard performance with MP3's (MP3's would skip if I went and did something else like surfing the web) and MIDI playback.
This is my setup:
PII-400 256Mb RAM
SB Ensoniq Audio PCI
ATI All in Wonder 128 (primary video card)
3DFX Voodoo 3 (yes, I am using 2 video cards and 2 monitors)
Roland XP-30
Korg X5D
