Hi_D_Ho_Man

Tha' So & So ,So & So
when i open cubase, as soon as i turn on my keyboard it triggers the midi in signal and it says on indefinitely. I tried turning the keyboard on first, switching to local off, then opening cubase only to have the same thing happen as soon as i press a note.

I'm assuming its a settings issue. it stopped for a while , though i don't know how , but now its back. any ideas?

sorry i can't help cuz that is my latest hurdle in SX
i tried turning Midi Thru On and Off and all that...

can you let us know how you got it fixed if you do

and vice versa

the Techies at steinberg saying that if your soundcard is sharing the same IRQ with something else problems can occur

and of course my soundcard and my video card share the same IRQ
and eventhough the problem stopped they advised to keep them separate

so check your IRQ and if there is no Conflict/sharing then the problem could be the midi interface and that's according to Steinberg's Tech Support

That IRQ thing might be the ticket. cuz it does the same thing when i open a song and no hardware is turned on. Thanks for responding
