Midi Patch Name Displaying

I am NOT a Gear Whore. ;)
im running PT7.0 and im trying to get used to its midi capabilities. one problem that i'm having is trying to get the patch names to display, instead of notes. im writing drum parts, not keyboard, and it would be much better to have it say 'Kick" instead of C#...

i have the file with the patch info that you're supposed to use with it, but i cant figure out how to load it.

BTW, im using DFH superior and a Roland TD-3 kit, just in case you wanted to know. :)

i've read the fucking manual, but ProTools midi sucks compared to the likes of Sonar etc. :D They keep it a big secret. :rolleyes:

ive searched the Digidesign support site for hours on end.

you guys are just so smart :p
