i have just purchased delta 66 soundcard and now im needing something to hook up my trinity rack system. i dont have usb ports and was wanting to get some recommendations.

From what I've understood from several posts on this bbs many people have an extra soundcard in their computer, just for the midi interface.

I use a MusicQuest 2Port S/E that hooks to a parallel port.
Like the name implies it provides 2 in and 2 out and seems wll matched to an old dog without USB. I've had it since the days of my P90 and it still works great.
The extra soundcard will eat another IRQ and another slot while the parallel port can be shared with your printer via an A/B switch.

a while back i was using a parallel port connection for midi...i believe i was using an opcode(?)...it worked fine...more recently i've used a soundblaster pci card...
