Midi in on an old mac 630 performa

I have used this puter easily with a serial cable w/my alesis QS8 but now I want to let a friend use it for a casio that only has nie pin din midi ins and outs.
My question is how do I go into the mac with midi using a midi out on the casio.

You'll have to hunt around the bargain bin places to find an old MIDI-to-Mac Serial port adapter.

Should be cheap but you'll have to hunt to find them now....

Yah, the single cable (16 channel) Serial MIDI interfaces are kind of hard to come by these days. But the eMagic AMT8 does have both Mac and PC serial ports and a USB port. But it's around $500. I'd check eBay, you might find something out there.
