Has anybody had any luck dumping midi files into a multitrack session in Audition 1.0? This doesn't work for me at all. The midi file is opened by the program and put into my memory, and the session will even "think" the midi file is in a track, but it's not shown/mapped, and no audio comes out. This is the only midi issue I've ever experienced on my computer--all other applications seem to work fine. Any ideas/answers?

Have you got the appropriate setup in Options > Device Properties so that the program knows what to do with the file?

adam - you could always use whai do for midi.
you could import your audio files done in cool into powertracks (scads of midi features pgmusic.com) and add your midi tracks. i havent used it but i think powertracks will even do midi to wave conversion if i remember.
cool is very good for audio tracking. but for midi you need a very capable midi sequencer.
peace.
