Midi for a ddx3216 automated mixer...

I have cubase vst32,MAudio Omni studio, and a ddx3216 mixer. The mixer documentation seem to indicate that it maps the faders and controls to 128 channels... I don't know much about midi so I'm looking for advise..
What interface will work?
What's the best to use? ect...

again, from a guy who knows not alot at all, maybe i can atleast give a little insight. i think what it means, is that the mixer's faders can be hooked up to directly control the faders within the cubase application, that requires a midi out from the mixer, into your midi interface which will convert and send the neccesacery signals to Cubase whenever a fader position on the mixer is changed. I believe only Cubase needs to know which channel will recieve fader data (depending on which midi channel you plugged the cable going out of the desk). hope that helped!
