MIDI + FL6 producer

I can't seem to use the piano roll to change pitch, except on certain patches. Basically, I'm not sure why I can arpeggiate and do all sorts of other pitch related activities with some channels and not with others. No matter what midi note I set in the piano roll, it'll always come out as C5.

Any help? I'm totally stumped here.

what MIDI device (internal or external) are you driving with FL?

Need way more info to even begin to tackle the problem.

What type of patches can't you change in the piano roll?

Is it predictable or is it random?

Are they patches that are supposed to play melodies?

VSTi plugins?

VST effects? FL effects?
