Midi Drummer Home Studio 2004

I have Home Studio 2004 and cannot get any sound when trying to use the midi drum. I follow the book and it appears to have placed info in the track view but I cannot get any sound.I am running M-Audio Audiophile 2496 and WinXP. I have no issues when playing audio I have recorded. Thanks for any help

is ur midi routed correctly? i havent used Home Studio XL simply Sonar Home Studio and I havent used its midi (i use it for tracking and mixing) but i know theres a certain way to route midi in sonar its strange (which is half of why i dont use midi in sonar)
