Howdy.
I am new to computer recording. I used to use a standalone.
I am running
Sony Vaio grt100
512 RAM
80G
XP pro
Reason
Vegas
Novation Remote 25
MOTU 828mkII
I was getting dropped sound (replaced by a test tone like tone) monitoring throught the MOTU.
To make a long story short, I ended up restarting in Diagnostic mode which seems to eliminate the anomaly and allowes Reason, vegas, and the MOTU to play together. HOWEVER MIDI is disabled. Reason recognizes the MOTU as an Audio device, but does not even present any options (MOTU nor Remote 25) on the MID pages.
I believe that it is a question of selective enabling/disabling.
Does anyone know what services/startup options are the (bare minimum) necessary for MIDI to be enabled?
Thanks in advance
