1. can someone suggest a afforable midi keyboard controller with pitch & modulation wheels and also zones. i would greatly appreciate it.

2. i have a mpc2000xl and was wondering with all of the software out today because i do want to use my computer is this really necessary?

First define "affordable"

Second narrow it down a little bit, do you have a minimum key requirement?

i was basically just needing 61 keys with pitch and modulation wheels and preferably some zones if possible. i would define afforable as under 200( if possible) bec i still have to pay for a jv2080 that im about to get.

In your price range this is the creme of the crop.

I don't think it does "zones" though. I'm not familiar with passive controllers that do.
