Hi folks!
I have a Korg N264 (76 keys) in my studio which I mainly use as a MIDI controller, but some of the keys are giving me a problem. Of course, I can get it serviced, but I've also been wondering about changing to a dedicated MIDI controller instead of this. I've seen reviews of Yamaha KX61, M-Audio Axiom 61, Edirol PCR-800, etc. I would like decent keyboard action, plus decent features, and something that lasts a long while. My idea was to sell the N264 and invest in a controller. Any suggestions? Even within the M-audio range, there is the Oxygen series, the Keystation series and the Axiom series. Thanks! Reading some of the reviews on the net, I'm not convinced about anything yet fully, and hence this post. (Perhaps I ought to hang on to my N264). I'd really like some input on this, since I'm not familiar with the machines themselves.
(I use Sonar 8.0, Reason, a lot of VSTs, etc.)
